The history of Britain is presented through 21 women whose lives intrigue and inspire. This unique personal choice by journalist and Woman’s Hour presenter Jenni Murray includes Boadicea, Nancy Astor, Emmeline Pankhurst, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Mary Quant. Britain has traditionally been defined by its con?icts, its conquests, its men and its monarchs. It’s high time that it was defined by its women.Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts.
