After seven stunning TV seasons, the young ninjas have come to the big screen. Watch them do incredible feats, win epic battles all with a quip on the lips. Part of the Film Unit Autumn Programme.

Director: Charlie Bean & Bob Logan & Bob Fisher Cast: Dave Franco, Jackie Chan, Olivia Munn, Justin Theroux Country: USA Language: English Note: This is an autism-friendly screening. A welcome back to the big screen for everyone's favourite brick-shaped toy! This time around evil warlord Garmadon threatens the city of Ninjago with his weapons and dragons. To protect the city, six teenagers are recruited. They must train and become ninjas to defend the innocent people against Garmadon. But when a more dangerous, fiercer threat comes to Ninjago, the ninja heroes and Garmadon might just need to do the unthinkable and team up themselves. After The Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie, the Warner Animation Group just keep improving the visuals of Lego on screen. Epic battles, ninja skills, jokes and plot twists make this film fun and a really entertaining watch! For autism-friendly screenings we: * do not play music before the start of the film * reduce the volume; * dim the lights more than usual; * reduce the screen brightness; * cap the audience capacity to half, to avoid the screening from being too crowded; and * set up a a separate safe space/calm down area.
