Director: Paddy Considine Cast: Paddy Considine, Jodie Whittaker Country: UK Language: English Journeyman follows the story of a boxer who is left with a life-altering brain injury after a delayed reaction to a vicious punch, leaving him with memory-loss and severe cognitive impairment. Directed by Paddy Considine, who also plays the lead character Matty Burton, the film pulls at the heartstrings, as Burton struggles to remember events in his previous life, such as his wedding and the birth of his daughter, even with the help of his wife Emma (Jodie Whittaker). This creates an incredibly emotional piece of cinema which is well acted and gives a fantastic insight into the lives of people with brain injuries, and how this affects them and their loved ones.
