Event Details

Some of our skill based courses are HEAR recognised. Full attendance required

Ever wanted to know the downforce produced by your favourite sports car but never had the money to buy it? (if you are a student we understand) The ANSYS CFD course is for you. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) allows you to simulate internal flow (through pipes) and external flows (over and around objects) to help you determine the outcome before running real experiments. In the first week of the course you will be guided on how to use the ANSYS workbench and model 2D laminar flow problems. By Week 5, you will have been exposed to 3D geometry and meshing, tackled different flow models and introduced to convective heat transfer. A course tailor made for students studying heat transfer and fluid flow.

This is a 5 week course, running weekly on Wednesdays.

Course runs from 20th February - 20th March
