Director: Gaspar Noé Cast: Sofia Boutella, Romain Guillermic Country: Multiple Language: French/English Climax is a French horror film that follows 20 urban dancers to an abandoned boarding school for a three-day rehearsal, their last as a group. To celebrate, they make a sangria bowl, and a party soon starts. However, it quickly becomes clear that someone has spiked the drink with LSD, which, combined with the pulsating electronic music, turns their celebration into a hallucinatory nightmare. Gaspar Noé’s direction provides a visually stunning experience that adds to the on-screen horror whilst embracing the soundtrack’s mix of Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder and Soft Cell. This film is a real cinematic package.
