Dedicated to his parents, Cold War is an evocative love letter from Polish director Pawel Pawlikowski, who won the Best Foreign Language Oscar for his last film Ida. This will surely be in the conversation this year, with gorgeous cinematography, heart-wrenching passion and a score that captures the sounds of the era.
