Join illustrator, author and suffragette descendant Kate Pankhurst for this very special International Women’s Day celebration event as she tells the stories of some of the most amazing women who blazed the trail for women in the world of work. Discover insects with naturalist Maria Sibylla Merian, take action with The London Match Girls and swim through pages of ground breaking sports moments with Annette Kellerman and much, much more. There will be drawing, there will be dressing up and most importantly, there will be lots of inspiration to change the world!

 

Venue information:

The Auditorium, University of Sheffield Students’ Union is found between Western Bank and Glossop Road. The venue has good access by bus or tram, and there is parking available in the nearby multi-storey Q car park on Durham Road.
