Jeanette (Carey Mulligan) and Jerry (Jake Gyllenhaal) are going through a rough phase in their marriage; arguing, fighting and making plans to hurt one another. Joe, their teenage son, is the unfortunate spectator of this sad show. Caught in between a father who struggles to express his feelings, and a strong-minded, determined mother, Joe watches his parents set their family on fire, while the nearby forest is slowly burning. Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine, Prisoners, Okja) starts his directorial career with this elegant and delicate adaptation of Richard Ford's novel, directing one of Carey Mulligan's finest and most critically-acclaimed performances so far. Wildlife is a subtle and poetic family drama with complex characters and stunning scenery; emotions garanteed!
