Wear sportswear and suitable shoes. Bring water
Come and join the equestrian club at our horse riding for beginners sessions. No experience necessary! You will be paired with one of the yard’s lovely trekking horses and will be led along a lovely woodland trail on horseback in a group, giving you the opportunity to get to know how it feels to ride.
Meet outside bar one at 12:00pm. The cost of the ticket does not include transport so you will need to be prepared to share an uber/taxi with the other attendees which will be £5-£7, please bring this with you in cash. This will be arranged for you by SUEC. Please make sure you wear sensible footwear such as ankle boots with a small heel (Chelsea boot style) and comfortable trousers that you can move around in. Due to the availability of horses the yard has set a weight limit of 14 stone (88kg). Riding hats can be borrowed from the yard so please don’t worry if you don’t have one! It is essential that attendees email with their height and weight in advance of the session. Failure to do so may result in us not having a suitable horse and the participant being unable to ride. In this case a refund will not be allowed. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with this information. Failure to wear appropriate clothing may result in you being turned away, again in this case the session will be non-refundable.
