Very few films have had more of an impact on the zietgeist than Mean Girls. From Arianda Grande paying homage to the film in her Thank U, Next music video to October 3rd being declared Mean Girls Day, Waters and Tina Fey's teen comedy has had an indelible impact on contemporary popular culture. The film follows teenage girl Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) who has moved from Africa to Chicago - I know, just run with it. Socially-awkward and naive from being homeschooled by her mother, Cady enrolls at highschool. After struggling to make friends, Cady gets stuck between two circles: the Plastics, a clique of mean girls ran by the monstrous Regina George, and two nerdy outcasts, Damian and Janis. Who will Cady choose?
