Ever wanted to know the downforce produced by your favourite sports car but never had the money to buy it? (if you are a student we understand) The ANSYS CFD course is for you. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) allows you to simulate internal flow (through pipes) and external flows (over and around objects) to help you determine the outcome before running real experiments. In the first week of the course you will be guided on how to use the ANSYS workbench and model 2D laminar flow problems. By Week 5, you will have been exposed to 3D geometry and meshing, tackled different flow models and introduced to convective heat transfer.
How will the sessions work?
These sessions will be run online through Blackboard Collaborate. When you purchase a ticket, you will be asked for your email and MUSE login in order to set up your account and enrol you onto the correct GraphCAD Course. On the afternoon of your session, you'll be able to find the session links in the 'Organisations' section named 'USU - GraphCAD Courses (GIAG)' on Blackboard as below:
All you have to do then is log in at the time of your session and you're ready to go!
